What is a brigadeiro?
A brigadeiro is a traditional Brazilian chocolate, known for its distinctively smooth and fudgy texture. Unlike a standard truffle, it's made with high-quality cocoa and condensed milk, resulting in a deeper, more indulgent bite.
How long do they stay fresh?
Our brigadeiros are made to order and are best enjoyed within 7 to 10 days. To maintain their texture, we recommend keeping them in a cool, dry place. They can also be refrigerated, we recommend leaving them out for 15 mins to enjoy them at room temperature and fully experience the velvet-smooth texture.
Are Sol Bites gluten-free?
Yes, our Original Sol Brigadeiro ingredients are naturally gluten-free. However, they are produced in a kitchen that handles flour, so we cannot guarantee a 100% gluten-free environment.
Do you offer vegan options?
Currently, our recipes rely on traditional dairy-based ingredients. If the demand is there, we can explore plant-based alternatives for the future.
Allergen notes?
All our products contain Milk. While the Original does not contain nuts, our kitchen handles them daily, so trace amounts may be present.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
When will I get my order?
We dispatch orders within 1–3 working days via Royal Mail First Class. You will receive an email notification as soon as your box is on its way.
What is the return policy?
Due to the perishable nature of our products and for food safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges.
If there is a significant issue with your order or if you have received the incorrect item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a photo of the package. We handle these instances on a case-by-case basis to ensure a fair resolution.
Do you cater for events?
Absolutely! Please contact us by filling out the contact form and letting us know your requests. We do anything from weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, corporate events etc.
